Optical Manipulation - OM Lab

card

Optical manipulation by means of laser tweezers has been developed at TASC since 2002, originally within the LILIT group and as a distinct laboratory, called OM - Lab, since 2008.

The aim of the OM Lab is the development of optical manipulation instrumentation and its application to the following fields of research: nanotechnology, biophysics and biomedicine.

A more detailed description of our activity can be found in the research section.

NEWS ! Open position: PhD in Nanotechnology from January 2012

Nanostructured arrays for characterization of myosin – actin cyclic interactions.
